ART & COMPANY

Author: admin - of: October 30, 2010

I participated with great pleasure the wonderful evening held Tuesday, October 26 at MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the presence of the law firm Hogan Lovells in Italy and the merger of the law firm Lovells and Hogan & Hartson and confirmation and sustain their commitment to art and culture.

What if the perfect Danube with a unique architectural structure as that of MAXXI and the presence of representatives from the world of law firms, a liaisons with the contemporary art that makes sense and is sustainable in an era of global economic crisis.

I think we must be aware of the extraordinary osmotic relationship between art and business, where the culture is called to communicate, to promote new values, new ideas, new perspectives and Art "talks" in order to c OnCreate in the world in its whole, with the language of each.

Stops n ere the artistic and cultural heritage is

Today more than ever a must and part of our Corporate Social Responsibility.

Good weekend to all!

THE SOUTH AND THE COMPANY

Author: admin - of: October 21, 2010

How much time we spent in the South and to allow her to have an entrepreneurial and managerial network in step with the times and the demands of global competition. Today, perhaps something is changing.

I do not think there is a cultural inferiority or otherwise, as some theorize, the distances that separate the South from the rest of Italy. There is a "historical issue" addressed by scholars and intellectuals, often Southern, which is still open.

The best energies are at work. They invest in innovation and research, study, practice good practices and know how to move internationally.

The institutions do their job: the Puglia Region with the "star-up" by helping young entrepreneurs, as well as the national government which allocates 500 million euros for companies in the South.

I think it's an important step that will put all to the test.

I hope that this test come out positive results.

At least not to extinguish the hopes.

ITALY FOR THE VIOLENCE STOPS

Author: admin - of: October 13, 2010

On the day of national mourning for the death of young Italian soldiers in Afghanistan, in Genoa a large group of neo-Nazi Serbian ultras spreading terror in the streets of the city and then prevented the match Italy-Serbia.

It was nice to the show last night at the "Marassi", the ultra-nationalist violence has prevailed with respect to a football match that was to sing the praises of sport and fair play. But none of this: firecrackers, smoke bombs, rude gestures, hats blacks and political symbolism.

The children in the stadium were incredulous and confused, unable to understand a violent attitude that had nothing to do with the jerseys that they wore their peers: the Italian jersey Serbian Serbian jersey Italian ones.

On October 12, 2010 will be well remembered in the history of football, as the overpowering of ethnic warfare and pride of a small group of thugs on sport and on the "fantasy" of Antonio Cassano.

Season the words of John Walls of the Republic: <<very bad blow to the heart of football. The heart is not the belly and even head. You want to enjoy a show, it's a passion, it is able to be with others>>.

NAPOLITANO AND TRICOLOUR

Author: admin - of: September 30, 2010

I do not know how to excite public opinion in the case of Adro, but despite some different shade than a few days ago, I became convinced that it is a matter that perhaps should be discussed seriously and in political and social debate of our country.

I think that the symbols of the Republic and the Italian state are unique and irreplaceable. Anyone attempting to replace or modify them with other more specific party or movement, relies on gestures grave and disrespectful of democratic institutions.

President Napolitano was firm and decisive in confirming the importance and indispensability of the symbols Republicans, acting Head of State and a guarantor of the Constitution.

I do not think that the experience of Adro can be resized, regardless dall'epilogo final, since the substance of the remains, particularly in places (school) in which it was made.

For my children and future generations, the presence of Napolitano is a safe for democracy and for the state Republican.

Others do not. They are a threat.

I now prefer Napolitano and the tricolor.
